My Top Guiltiest Television Pleasures
After following “Jersey Shore” and watching every episode at least twice, I started thinking about the shows that I love to watch, but other people consider it so corny and horrible script wise, story wise and/or premise wise.
Sidenote; After writing this, I realize that I have a weak spot for show with good music, no matter how horrible the show is.
Disclaimer: You will judge me once you read this list.
1.) Las Vegas- They say that each episode is just so far fetched, so cliche, and the dialogue is silly. But I love Vegas and I really like the song choice in the episodes. In fact that’s how I got a majority of the good lesser known songs I’ve downloaded
2.) Greek- People who aren’t or weren’t Greek would say “College students don’t do that”. And as far fetched and made-up the story lines are, there are alot of parallels. Good song selection if you’re into Indie-gone-mainstream stuff
3.) Flava of Love- I don’t need to explain this one
4.) One Tree Hill- Not gonna lie, I started watching this show cuz it was about basketball. Came back because every girl on this show is hot, even the moms. I kept watching because it had a good soundtrack. I must admit that I like this show, up until this current season at least. Story line is ok, but the awesomely worst part about this show is the dialogue between the characters…it’s stupid.
5.) Smallville- It’s Superman as a teenager…and on the WB/CW…it’s bound to be ridiculous. The nerd in me brought me to watch it. Stayed for Lanna Lang and Lois Lane, and the soundtrack.
